Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Hi, just wanted to let you know that I landed march 1 and didn't get my PR card until today august 1. I had the same issue with the pictures. I had to re submit them. No one from CIC contacted me, until I contacted them about it.

I notice that a question remains to be answered that whether photographs can be submitted through representative or must be submitted by the candidate personally.

I have got letter from cic to resend the photo. They have asked to send a copy of Copr with photo.

In my case I landed on 1st and it changed to Complete on 4th.

For me I have attached the photo along with the Passports for stamping and they sent the COPR with the photos fixed do I need to submit another photograph while landing.

Hi All,

I landed 10th May 2014, still did not receive PR card.

my ecas says processing for PR started 21st July....not sure when will I receive it.....

Anyone still waiting who landed in April, may?

I landed on May 7, and ECAS says in process on July 18th. Still waiting.

We landed 17 May, 2014, and not received anything.

Called CIC and was told that the PR cards were sent to me on 17 July, 2014. Still waiting...

They told me to call back till 28 August, 2014 if still not receive the PR cards, and they will resend the cards Again!

same here. Landed on May 27th. Card sent out on July 21st, got nothing so far

Got PR card of my wife today.
It was printed on 4th july, but they sent it on wrong address. I called CIC call center and they told it was posted on 7th July and told me the address. I went there and found it. They kept it for many days as they don't know me.
thank God.
Now I am waiting for my card.

I landed on May 13th, called them two weeks ago, said my PR mailed out on July 17th, i will get it 5 to 10 days. but I still didn't receive anything. called again today, she told me to fill a form after August 28th, and then they will send me another one. Don't know how long that's going to take. not expecting to receive mine in 2014, maybe if I am lucky enough, I will receive by next year. Does anyone know how to get our PR number? I need it to register course.

I landed with my family at Niagara on 30th April. We have received our PR cards in July 2nd week except for one of my kid who turned 18 this year. still waiting..

Hi everyone. I have been a passive user of this forum but I've benefited a great deal from the discussions. I landed with my family on March 12, 2014.

My son received his PR card in early June; my wife was next, receiving hers roughly 2 weeks after. Upon calling CIC about the delay in receiving mine, I was informed that my application was under "verification" (yes, that rather amorphous term). No meaningful explanation was given by the agents I spoke with at different times but I was told to wait for the process to play itself out. Anyway, I wasn't in a hurry having lived in Canada for 3 years and confident of my status as a permanent resident.

To cut the long story short, my card came in the mail today, exactly 148 days later. This posting is to assure others being "verified" that there's light at the end of the proverbial tunnel.

So alex you got your PR card 5 months after landing. Shows how slow and inefficient they are in the verification process... Thanks for sharing your experience!

Finally got PR card today after 91 days...they sent it to the wrong address before(added an extra number to my street address...probably got returned to CPC)

So anyways, if I gotten it at right time it probably would have been 65 days.

Hope everyone still waiting gets theirs soon.

Yes, it took 5 months indeed. I think the problem hinges on the fact that CIC is severely understaffed, and this comes across very clearly when applicants need to be verified for whatever reason.
