Quick update for you guys:

eCAS now shows 2 sections ... one for PR and other for PR card. When I opened the PR card link, it says that they "started processing application on FEB 17" and status is currently "in process". i landed on DEC 21.

expecting card within the next 2 weeks.

Where can you see that as in my application i can only see "Permanent Residence Application Status".
i did my landing on 11th jan 2014.

But how come it took so long for you from when you landed till get the cards? Any specific reason?

The pr cards was issued earlier and sent to us by CIC but unfortunately, we were unable to receive it. Reason being that we moved to a new address and forwarded our mails with Canada post unknowingly that immigration documents cannot be forwarded. As a result, the cards was sent back to immigration after one month. Eventually, I called cic and updated my new address last week end so we finally received all the cards today .

Same here, I could not see the PR card status. May be it will start showing only after they start processing?? cec2013 can confirm

My card is already sent (according to cic call centre). But ecas has no update.

According to the disclaimer of ecas, pr card status is available only if you

. applied for a permanent resident card (replacement or renewal);

Hi, me & my wife received our pr cards on 9/1, landed on 1/11/13 , but we have not received our son's(8 months old) card , we called cic on 16/1, using16139444000 number, ther agent informed us my son's card had not yet begun processing ! The agent's knew we were calling from outside Canada & asked us if our son was with us ? They did not tell us when the card would be processed , but asked to call in a week or so.

Can anyone share some info on the above delay.

Finally received my son's PR card on 21.2.14 , after calling back on 5 & 12.2.14 , for a followup.
