Ferna, you should have something soon. I have my ecas updated as of yesterday, processing started on may 26.

I just checked my ecas and found the same msg there, We started processing your application on May 26, 2014.
I am so happy, this made my day! I hope they get to speed and don't make other applicants wait as long as us.

Sorry if my question sounds dumb. But how are you checking this update for PR card Processing?
When I check my application status it just says Completed after my landing.
I don't see any other update since then

Another table will be added in your ecas for pr card application. They don't add it until they start your pr card processing. 2 days ago I just had that completed msg like you.

Just to keep you on the loop my daughter Pr application was transfered to the verification I recieved her PR card after 117 days from the day we landed so I guess the verification process is about 115-120 days for those who are facing the same issue i hope this info helps them

It is from the beginning. when we applied in fast track it becomes slow and our case was cleared in 4 years.
Now PR card processing time and list is expanding day by day.
If all security checks are done when they issued the visa, then what are they waiting for now.

CIC pple told us that they usually they pick a random pr applications about 3% for quality assurance purposes ...

Landed Feb 13, 2014. No PR Card yet. Am at about 105 days now. Called CIC 2 weeks ago and CIC said it has gone for further verification. No explanation as to what that means or an estimated timeline. Added my case to spreadsheet.

Processing times are up to 85 calendar days now. Clearly an issue at CIC at the moment. I am sure my card will take even longer due to 'further verification'.

My ECAS still only shows "complete". No PR Card application section is to be found.

According to CIC my card was mailed on 14th May and I haven't received it till date.

they only show "Permanent Resident Card Application Status" when they start processing your PR card.
for me I landed on 1st of March and I saw the new status on 28th of May !!!

this is too much...from 37 days to 85/90(even more next week)....this is even more painful as I have to travel
