Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

I called CIC again, this is the fifth or sixth time I call them and they told me my card should be ready by 28 Jan and then send out to me.
Anyway, this is intolerable and I've filed a CSE for emergency situation.

As discussed earlier.
Files are alotted to different officers.
Sometimes delays due to slow agent , human error or long que in that specific officer tabĺe, sometimes system error for that officer, etc etc...
Sometimes delay due to incomplete file within cic or difficult case...
Some immigrants landed in may received pr card in jan..

My friend and his wife landed at Toronto Pearson on Oct 3rd and received their cards on Dec 31st.

Just a simple question. How do you get driver's license and BC health card without the PR card?
Yes, I can use the interim driver's license, but they won't give me BC service card, which means I've paid 3 months for MSP but cannot use the service!

I got my lic w/o pr card. Only passport was sufficient.

Yes i am oct 10th.
As i am out of canada, my brother who is in canada called cic.
Cic told too much rush and mail them on the link my concern.
