Hey guys so i landed August 9th in Aldergrove. Called the CIC call centre today for the second time woman was lovely she told me they sent my PR card for further verification on September 19th and they are currently working on cases received May 20th. She told me to not expect anything for another 2/3 months and to not worry as they rarely contact in these situations. So im going to stop checking and worry about it at a later date.

I spoke to CIC call centre.. They told they have mailed my PR card today.. I live in Mississauga. Can anyone tell me how sooner do you think I can receive them.. Hoping to receive it soon as I am travelling out of country tomorrow night

I say it varies from 2 weeks to 6 weeks. So it actually depends on each application. some move faster and some slower.lufc_cal said:

I noted that on CIC website, it mentioned that you can apply for urgent PR card processing if you have travel plan within 3 months. Does that apply for the first time landing? Has anyone applied for that? and does that actually work? Please share your experience. Thank you so much!
I have travel in less than 2 months after my landing. (I haven't done my landing yet..)
