Ecas added PR card status today. It says they have started processing my PR card on Dec 4th, although I found the update just now.

My ECAS Status is still ''Complete'' but nothing about the PR Card. My only question is that how long usually does it take to receive the PR card? In Niagara the officer told me that it takes 2-3 months. Some people says here that it takes only days. Which one is correct?

When they started processing the PR card, there will be a new section in ECAS for PR card application saying in process, and when you click in, you'll see 'we started processing your case on XX Nov', then XX Nov is the date.

they just leave in the mailbox. so, if u have someone to collect it from ur mailbox, that should be fine....just make sure with cic that ur card is approved n waiting to b sent out to u. I mean, there is no issue with photographs.

Here are the photograph requirements for PR Card, if photographer ignores any of these instructions, CIC can request for new pics acc to these specifications

The two photos must:
•show a full front view of the person’s head showing full face centred in the middle of the photo;
•be clear, well-defined and taken against a plain white background without shadows;
•be produced from the same unretouched film or from the same file capturing the digital image or from two identical photos exposed simultaneously by a split-image or multi-lens camera;
•be original photos (not taken from any existing photo);
•measure between 25 mm and 30 mm (1” and 1 1/5”) from chin to crown (top of hair);
•have a 35 mm x 45 mm (1 3/8″ x 1 3/4″) finished size;
•be on photographic paper that has a backing which accepts and retains the date. Photos without this backing are not acceptable;
•be on prints that are well-fixed and washed to prevent discolouration;
•bear the date the photo was taken (not the date the photo was printed) directly on the back of one print (stick-on labels are not acceptable).

I haven't seen any change on my ECAS since landing. My status is complete but nothing about the PR card. Should I follow up with CIC?

That is weird. Cuz they told me the same thing when i landed at Rainbow Bridge. But on CIC's website it says 3 weeks. Some of the applicants got their cards in 3 weeks as well.

It looks it is taking more than 3 weeks. I landed on Nov 13th and there is no changes on my Ecas status.
