I am waiting for PPR as well.
Here is my detailed timeline:
File submitted: September 2015
Additional docs requested: November 2015
AOR: January 2016
File started to be processed: March 2016
Medical, RPRF requested and sent: May 2016
Medical received by CIC: July 2016

Where is your visa office? Have you tried contacting cic? Because, it has passed more than a year.

I am an inland applicant and I submitted it in Sydney.
I contacted them but they said it is still under process
