I got the same reply; when I sent an email again saying that its been 18 months already so how come VO didnt get the chance to review my file earlier they replied back we are waiting for the results of mandatory background checks ;D I guess they dont really tell what's going on just send you generic responses.....
No shit! I got the EXACT same e-mail today... :o :o :o And I actually thought they meant it when they said a VO was reviewing my file...
16 months and counting...

From GCMS I see my file has been recently dealt by MP03299 but he has assigned the file to RC-9515 after creating the Counterfoil and COPR, is anybody else dealing with same VOs? Also from my GCMS I see Counterfoil and COPR has been created on 04-Dec-2013 itself and is in print queue, I wonder what prevents them from sending it to me.

Hi guys,

I received medical request on Nov 27, 2013. Completed medical on Dec 2 and as per the doc it was uploaded on Dec 7. Send several emails to cic but no response. Still waiting. Don't know what's going on. My eligibility has been passed as per my gcms notes which I received last month on Dec 10th.

my file is also assigned to RC-9515 since Oct (as per GCMS notes of mid Nov), but no mention of counterfoil or COPR anywhere, I thought RC-9515 is a department within ottawa which deals with security clearances , what it says under security in your notes still blank???

I just received it last January 2, before I did my medical... :)

The two photographs must
- show a full front view of the person's head and shoulders, showing their full face centred in the middle of the photograph
- have a plain white background
- be produced on single weight matte paper
- measure betwee 25mm and 30mm from chin to crown
- have a finished size of 35mm x 45mm

In short, the pictures we submitted for medicals should be ok for PPR as well!!!
