Hello Seniors, I recently received my medicals request for myself and my family. I live in Toronto. Could anyone recommend a good Panel doctor for doing my e-Medicals in Toronto. Also if you can give me information regarding the fee it would be helpful

Hi Seniors,

I did my medicals in UAE in mid July 2013. It has been over two months but ECAS still shows status as "In Process". I did the medicals from Dubai. The tracking number the doctor gave us shows the medicals reached within two days.

I do not know if there was problem with medicals or not. Also the same time CIC requested Proof of funds. But I do not know if they were accepted.

Any suggestions if I should contact CIC or how long to wait?

As mentioned in this forum by many seniors, You could atach the copy of your medical exams reciept and send a not to CIC email ID asking to confirm if they have received your Reports.

I had a similar situation. I saw my status changed to DM in the first weekend of September. I emailed them on the following Tuesday morning. And in response i got the PPR.

Well i can't definitely say that both actions are connected, but there is a chance that the email might have triggered the officer to send the email.

And now, when i've got my passport back, i see that my Immigrant visa was stamped at the last week of August, perhaps 29. So they might have changed the DM status then but i noticed it couple of days later.

Moral of the story. Send an email....if you haven't already...wont hurt.

Thank you InfoSeeker12, I just did send an email, to kindly asking about the status. It most likely is a coincidence in your case, but as you've said, probably wouldn't hurt.

Received my PPR on Aug 9th and sent passports to CPP Ottawa today.

Can you please update that when your case status changed to decision made.
