on my COPR it ways my permanent resiency was issued June 19, 2013. However, I'm just receiving my COPR today(Aug 20, 2013)

I just received the "brune" letter by post this morning, so excited!!! I have a french passport so I just have to show the letter at the airport :)

How is it possible that CIC did NOT request my passport??? I don't understand this... is it a new procedure? They also did not request my bio-data!?!

Because you are from Germany, Which is a visa exempt Country and therefore dont have to send the passport.

Thank you all for the warm wishes! Wish rest of you guys get your PPRs soon! Goodl Luck!

Did u order for GCMS notes after getting the medical request from CIC?

I wanted to mention a very curious occurrence! I recall some forum members suggesting that I apply for my GCMS notes since they believe that requesting them may push their applications forward in the process. I ordered my notes on August 12, and received my approval notice on August 20. Please keep in mind that I have no evidence that bears out our above suspicion... however, for the $5.00 it costs to order the notes, it may help (it certainly helped my application).

Can you please provide more info on how $5 helped your app?

Oh my god! No! I may have been unclear. The fee is a nominal $5.00 to obtain your GCMS notes - this is what I meant. By no means did I attach a $5 'tip'... believe me, if I were to try that route, that sum would be at least 500 times higher. lol.
