Hi Alex. If your MP (most probably his/her staff) agrees to check it out for you, they will do it either right infront of you (by calling cic - special line i guess?) or you can email them and they will get back to you much quicker than the ATIP request.

I can't say that all MPs and their staff will do it for you, but it wont hurt or impact negatively in anyway, if you ask them to check it out for you.

Hello Nice guy,

Please do keep checking your ECAS account and let us know as soon as you see the Medicals have been rec'd status. Or some of us emailed CIC to confirm if they have rec'd our medicals. And they responded back in a day or two. Give it till this friday to see if your ECAS is not updated and then email them.

By the way, our friend Taymos has informed us of a great website that can track the ECAS status changes automatically for you. You wont have to log in 10 times each day. Really handy for ones who have connected their smartphones to their email accounts. Here it is:

That's why i said it. Not all do it. I contacted an MP sometime ago and they did it. So its really nothing definite. I guess they try not to, unless it crosses that 13 month mark.

Hi

I got my medicals on 29th May and did it on 4th June from Canada and my wife did it from India. The ecas status shows the medicals received since 23rd June but I have not received the RPRF and Biodata requests as of now. It is more than 1.5 months since I got my medicals. Is it normal? Can you guys please share your thoughts on this? Should I go for GCMS notes? Also I have received the RCMP request as well on 29th May and I submitted it back on 7th June, is it the one which gets the RCMP request are slower than the others.

I applied as a family. I'd had my RPRF and Biodata very next day when I got my MR. I paid RPRF and filled the biodata form and sent the same day. Today they informed me that they have my RPRF payments but still want me to fill biodata form again. I don't know this is the case for everyone.
