I would say 1%, unless the candidate or his/her family member have any serious medical concerns.
As per my understanding, the medical condition for refusal would be, if the primary applicant or any of his accompanying family member has symptoms of cancer, AIDS or TB.

In that case also, they wouldn't update the status to DM directly. They will send the reason for refusal first or ask the candidate to go for further medical exams.

This is all jusy my observation of the trend.

Yes, there used to be officers working "night shifts" so to speak that sends out ME, AOR, etc at midnight. But haven't seen this happening recently.

Has anyone recently inquired with CIC regarding the delay in PPR and not received a response yet ? I emailed them 6 days back but haven't heard from them.

I have a good feeling that some of us should be receiving passport requests this week. Good luck friends and cross your fingers! !! :) ;)

Same here! I also got the exact same email reply when I enquired but they replied to me after 3 days.

This week we all should get our PPRs! (I am being optimistic) :)
