My guess is that most of the immigration officers are allocated to emergency services like Visa approvals and stamping. hence, passports are getting stamped if they were requested for Visa stamping. However, in our case, they haven't requested us yet.

I think once the pool is cleared or strike called off, we will be queued for passport requests. Just a guess but seems logically connected?

Yes you could be right. Just hope we get our PPRs soon. Haven't seen more applicants submitting their passports recently.

Hello friends,

I got re-med request via email from client-update-mise-a-jour @ cic.gc.ca in June, 2013 but no Passport request, and no news after that, does that mean that interview is waived and they won't ask for additional documents? normally when can I expect PPR or will they ask for Re-PCC? thank you for sharing your experiences in other for me to get an idea regarding my case!

I dont think so. Many single applicants around that time frame already got their PPR and some even got their COPRs back.

I'm a single applicant though but I still didn't get PPR.

I do have a spouse but she's PR already. Is my case considered a "single" applicant or a "family" applicant?
