Hi guys,

I don't know if this is the place to ask, but I was wondering if you can track e-medicals online somehow or do we only have to call the medical office to tell us?

Thanks!

Hi all

I'd like to post my application status.
I am an October applicant and I received medical request on June 12th 2013 but not RPRF/Biodata form.
I have completed medical exam on 17th of June and showing in ECAS that medical has been received on June 30th.
Waiting for PPR request.

I see that people are getting their passports back after stamping without much waiting whereas people waiting for PPR are having a hard time. If the latter is due to the strike, then why are people getting their passports back so soon ?

My guess is that most of the immigration officers are allocated to emergency services like Visa approvals and stamping. hence, passports are getting stamped if they were requested for Visa stamping. However, in our case, they haven't requested us yet.

I think once the pool is cleared or strike called off, we will be queued for passport requests. Just a guess but seems logically connected?

I am also thinking on the same note , may be vise officers who is handling our applications is now working on approving the visa and some people getting PPR because there officers are still working on the PR application ?
