Waiting for PGWP and applying for Spousal Sponsorship

My situation is: I have recently graduated from a masters program in Canada. I applied for my PGWP and am waiting for that. My husband is Canadian and we recently learned about the spousal sponsorship route. However, I need to work!! So, my question is: can we apply for spousal sponsorship and I can work with my PGWP at the same time? Also should I wait for approval for PGWP before I apply
for spousal sponsorship?

You can apply for both at the same time. You can work with your PGWP while the spousal sponsorship is in process.
