waiting for passport since last 5 months

Hi,

I have sent my medical, passport and rprf fees on 25th May 2009 and still I am waiting for my passport back. I have also sent one mail to visa office and they have said that my application is pending for the final review for the visa officer.

Any one help me? It means that they wiil be not granitng my visa?

Please help me.

I have sent my full aplication in mid of april and in mid of may, I got one letter from embassy for asking my passport and all the other things. What is this provisional excepatance? Every applcant getting this?

provisional acceptance letter is issued to applicants having successful case outcome prior medicals. few applicants are issued PA's adn few applicants are directly issued MEdics + PPR and rprf fee reqeust. i dont have any idea why chc is going this but i guess u r on edge since u are waitign for your visas and we the ones with PA's are now waiting for PPR reqeust and trhan another wait for visa issuance.

one thing si for sure insAllah that is you will get ur visa stamped bcoz chc does not usually asks for passport unless they are sure for visa issaunce so chil buddy..also share letter contents fro furhter comments

Due to the high volume of correspondence received by this office, it generally takes several days following receipt to process passports and place them on file. The file is then directed to the attention of a processing team, where it may take several more days for a final review to take place to ensure all requirements have met for visa issuance.

This file is currently pending final review by the responsible processing team and a decision by the officer.
This the mail which i got in the response of my mail inquiry about my passort and visa.

i dont think so that there is any chance of rejection at this stage. i am suprised that they bothered to rite u such a detailed respnse which is also a positive indicator. can u cofnrim date of receiving of this reply

as stated earlier spa2009 u r almost thorugh insAllah. it is a very psoitive resposne and i believe it is now only the matter fo time. u can start looking for flights to ur new destination

I think the following can be the reason of delaying.

Actually, when i have submitted full application in mid of april, at that time I dont have H1 b visa for USA. But I got it on 5th May. I got the latter from chc on 14th may for passport and fees. So, migh be they are checking the US visa stemp.

Also, My 120 days were completed on 12th May. and I have appeared in IELTS exam on 30th June,. So, at the time of full application, I have not submitted result, only submitted the receipt of exam date. Though I have provide some proof of my english fluency. On 12th May, i have received the phone call from chc new delhi. One lady was asking me about the IELTS exam. I have told her that i have already appeard and as you know the result will publish after 14 days. So, I will send you the result as soon as i get that. She said ok. and on 14th may, I have recieved the letter for asking medical, passport, rprf fees and IELTS exam result.

I'm also in the same situation as you are but waiting for passports two months longer. I've submitted all docs, ppt, RPRF in April.
