Its been six months already me and my husband done with medicals. still waiting for passport request .I have emailed twice cic regarding the status of my application but they are saying your file will be reviewed my one of our officers.
But people who applied ahead of me got their ppr already, If someone is in the same boat please let me know why there is such a long wait in getting passport request...

I found the form IMM5563E ....on cic website. I am wondering if i can fill this one or GCMS is something different. Because i looked on the internet i could not find the specific form. If u can help me... i will appreciate.

Goto this link and request the notes online, it would take I believe 4 weeks to recieve these, just follow the instructions and pay 5 dollars for them and you shall get an idea as to where your application is at the moment.

Though you are slightly ahead of me but I did medical since Nov 2013 and I have seen people who did much later and have got PPR. I sent email checking status and I was also told an officer will review my file and I should be patient. I dont know why there is such a long wait. I dont think there is a particular process, I believe it depends on the officers reviewing the files. Let's patiently wait.
