Is it possible I can call CIC and ask whether my PP is stamped or not yet?
PP received by Ottawa - 16th APR
Tracker not activated yet

You can call them. They will not tell you if it has been stamped, but they can see on which date it was received and tell you if it was send for printing.

YOu have not received your PP back yet :-X
Check your tracker, you might get it back soon. Do landing next day possible. You will get your card in 25-20 business days which is approx 6- weeks.
I would suggest not to leave the country with your card. You have enough time. DO not delay your landing.

I sent my passport on May 01, 2015 alongside with four pics for each applicant + the letter required to be filled in by CIC.
I have a question, however I sent my passport by Express mail with tracking, but I did include any return envelop. Will the VO in New York, where I sent my Passport, send my passport back to me in an envelop paid by them? Or I have to send another one so they can send the stamped passport back to me?
