I send photographs yesterday, it reached to CIC today. Now waiting for tracker to activate.

It depends on the country you are sending to. Some countries have laws against sending passports in & out of their borders in which case, their customs will confiscate the passports and the person responsible is subject to legal action. Please do a thorough study of the passport laws of the country you are sending to before you do so.

CIC requested for a new passport for my husband. He already filed for renewal but we haven't received it yet. Since the current passport is still valid and the embassy confirmed that it's still ok, we sent it. The front part of the passport is detached but no major damage at all.

Philippines. But the thing is we asked our embassy and I called the CIC before we sent our passports and they said it should not be a problem since it's just the front part. Had I known, then I should have just emailed them and asked for an extension. We're currently waiting for the arrival of the new passport.

Alright, sent my passport on Feb 6, 2015. Let's see how long does it take til the return tracker get activated.

I got passports back today with printed VISA.

But they did not print the VISA on my daughter passport (she is 2 years old and has US passport)?

Any body with same situation?

US is a visa exempt country.
