^ Congrats! Please share your landing experience
We (my wife and our infant) went to Niagara on 31 jan ..
We went to Rainbow bridge . went to US side via the checkpoint. told the officer there that we have to go back in canada again .
At the checkpoint we were given a yellow receipt and told to wait near an office.
another officer chekd our docs and gave a refusal for US note . and guided us back into canada..
while going over the bridge we had to pay 3.75 CAD for toll . after ariving at canada chekpoint , our papers were checked , some routine questions were asked and we were told to go in office to meet the immigration officer.
after meeting the office and giving the relevant papers (passport, COPr and the us refusal note) , after a short wait the officer cleared the papers, we signed on the Copr and it was stapled on the passport, our immigration visa was striked(by pen) on passport. and a landing stamp was made on adjacent page.
there the immigration officer asked us few questions like bank balance and whether we had to import anything from our native country.
and congratulated us for PR !
