PP received at Ottawa: Oct 29th
Return Tracker Activated: 14th Nov

Mail received in Edmonton - 11/14

And then for some CP reason, it circled back to Ottawa today, 11/17.

Already called CP office, they said they'll do their best to contact the Ottawa facility to ship it back to Edmonton. Ugh, frustrating. ??? ??? ???

Guys do you know how many days CIC is taking to return the passport. My passport was received on 3rd Nov and still waiting for my return tracker to activate. I have travel booked on 27th Nov. I am too worried..

Yes I do remember this case. one poor fellow whose Card delivered to some other building with same apt #. and he suffered alot. he posted posters to all the near by buildings ..

But atlast he got it back

First of all thanks for your opinion and i am pretty much positive they would be able to find out my information through out the system either with the help of passport number or with UCI on TRV sticker if they want to send me back 7 business days past already in that case they should be sending it back within first week . and call center agent was also positive he said it's not only you who did this first time people do even lot other things wrong departments wrong visa offices etc , so he said am 101% sure you will get passport back with sticker on it in worst situation if he/she too lazy will return you within first few days. and Gurinder that ready to visa letter they use to punch numbers in the system and still they verify with system and passport TRV sticker has UCI on it hope officer will use that logic, and Nabeel as you said about your PCC if he can add it in your file with the help of pp no in case of mine they have my Passport in front of them even having UCI on it. and i think that's they way they Scan PP on airport to find out about your status within Canada . Rest we can only amuse unless we hear anything from them actually. And Gurinder you can say i was over excited not care less .

Sharing my timeline since PPR:

Passport Request: October 27th
Passport Sent: October 28th
Passport Received in Ottawa: October 29th by Mr. Pilon
Return Tracker Activated: November 17th (18:24)
Expected Delivery: November November 19th (Because I believe Canada Post's mail leaves at 5pm, otherwise it could've been next day delivery)

Quite a bit of situation here: Canada Post website says "Item successfully delivered" at around 6pm today. But ironically nothing in my mail box... No missed delivery notice, no community post box key, nor anyone came to my door. Am bit worried..... It was xpresspost envelope....... Is a signature required when passport is returned?
