My Tracker got activated today. Passport reached Ottawa on 29th Nov.

Hi Guys,
I got my passport back yesterday and landed today at Rainbow Bridge.

All the process to cross the bridge and come back took less than 30 minutes. It was completely empty because of the rain and flurries. $50 cents to cross the bridge as pedestrian.

They only got my passport and COPR, verbally confirmed my address and asked me if I had something else to bring after. If so you need to have a list of items you will bring later not to pay tax.

Almost a year but it is done. Now I need a job.

Good luck guys.

Congratulations!

I didn't understand the "list of items" part. What do you mean by "if I had something else to bring after". After what?

When you land as an immigrant, you can bring your "belongings" like furniture, jewellery, car,... (not sure which items are allowed). So if you land and are planning to bring your things in the future, you need to provide a list of items. In my case, nothing to bring.

Nothing to Worry , CIC folks will paste a printed slip of their address under "FROM "

Just told them I was there to land in Canada as an immigrant. They just filled a simple form and sent me back. By the way..... I have USA visa.

Hey Djpolarbear , You can do flag polling at any point , there is no restriction .

I feel like you are unnecessarily concerned too much , If you are in Toronto go to rainbow bridge and say at US side that I am here to do Landing formalities to complete Canadian PR process , They will hand over you administration refusal slip and you can head back to canadian side and Later can complete landing . Thats all.

I shared my landing experience ...in this thread.

I am in Calgary and plan to land this weekend. Which is a better option - Carway, AB or Coutts, AB border ? or it doesn't really matter, they are same?

Could any one, who received their COPR, confirm whether there is a passport number or address mentioned on the CoPR?

Thanks...
