Hi All,

Got PPR request on 30th September.
Sent Passport to CPC-Ottawa on 1st October.
Will reach to CPC-Ottawa on 2nd October..

Now lets begin the next wait ....

We waited for 3 months for PPR after decision made. I doubt if CIC have accelerated their processing that we could hear anything within two days. Try not to think about it, will only drive you crazy.

That's true but have planning to go back home that's why thinking. One I get passport back than I can book my ticket

Just wanted to find out whether you are planning to do landing here once you get the passport back or planning to travel to India and then do the landing when back from India? Just asking this question as I am also planning to go to india in December and bit confused on whether I should do the landing before that once I get the passports back since PR card is taking long time for people who applied or do it when back from India

If you plan to go India in Dec than better do landing from airport when you back from India as PR card take 2-3 month to come.

Reached passport to Ottawa CIC today. Now again waiting game start.

Hey did you received passport back or is your return package start to get tracked?

My passport reached there at CPC-Ottawa on 30th Sep.,2014 , I am still waiting to hear from them,.

Not yet but still waiting may be before this Friday as your and mine received date at CIC is same.

Hello all wonderful people:

My file is processed in New Delhi VO under family class. I just got the passport request from them.

Since they noted that I am currently working in Canada, they offered me to submit passport to Ottawa CPC so that I dont have to travel to India specially for submission.

I already have a pre-planned trip to India on November 15.

Now I am worried if I send my passport to Ottawa on October 12 then is there a chance that I can get it back before November 15 so that I can still fly to India????

Can I get my passport back in 4 weeks? Is that a fair chance?

Alternate way is to immediately fly to India for submission in New Delhi office but my work does not permit me to take immediate leave.

Please suggest guys....share your inputs please. Much appreciated.
