Waiting for Passport - Please add your case here

Schedule 8 had some issues. Now its ok i am just waiting for my passport.

Did CIC asked for clarification or u resubmitted by urself ?
This happened before medicals or After?
Dont feel offended, just trying to get some pattern on delayed applications.

No man there's nothing to get offended. I would love to share my experinces so someone else don't have to go through wht i have been through
i did not write all duties in schedule 8 so VO thought i only performed 3 duties. Then I hired a lawyer who asked for visa notes and fix everything
so the actual processing started in april 2014 but i applied in nov 2012.now i am waiting for my passport

Really a frustrating wait..
Sent passport on 28-July, still no updates..
Called up CIC and they said they can't track PR application...

Thanks for sharing, I just check my submitted Schedule8- Even i have filled 3 duties , but submitted reference letter that has details of role & duties.
It has limited space.

This is nonsense from VO , dont they know it has limited space.

SO they put ur application on hold or requested more docs?

Yes, even i thought the same.They did not consider letter
Written by the company. Since its a third party statement.
And this reason was not clear in GCMS notes.
I sent them an amended schedule 8 and then it was all ok

Hi,

My passport was received by Ottawa office on 13th June and was received by MS Cound.Tracker hasn't activated yet.My wife and my son's passport were submitted on 20th June in Islamabad, Pakistan.None of us has received any notification about passports yet.So it is total of 44 business days now excluding all weekends and stat holidays.

Anyone here is in same situation ?

Anybody has any idea , if due to emergency , you have to travel out of Canada, what are the options ? I hold an year long work permit but that doesn't allow you to come back to Canada or fly out from here.

I submitted my passport on 7th july and till date no response even i emailed them twice. I don't know what's going on.

Nothing still waiting, i am pretty sure by end of this week, we will get our passport or trackers will be activated

Another day gone but no news,its almost three weeks.
i think this batch has waited more then anyone for their passport

My passport was received on the August 7.

Return tracker not activated yet. I guess most people at CPC Ottawa are out on vacation. I am hoping they will try to catch up fast when they get back to work.

Mine was received on 29 july.its been 3 weeks but nothing
