It was activated yesterday evening.

does it says accepted and in transit or just transit..

Right now, it just says Item Processed. Should change to in transit at some point.

For me, it just says "Item Processed" since March 28 17:54, hasnt changed to "In transit" for the last 5 days..... looks like time to get panic..... ??? ??? ???

No I've seen a lot of people have tracker problems. Have you checked your mail just in case it's just sitting there? If it's not there, call Canadapost to see what they say.

Yes, I did check my mail and its negative, the postman called their office and it looks like the package is still sitting in Ottawa with a description "Manual Sort" and they dont know what that means.....

Man, this is frustrating to the core.....

Mine never changed to in transit. It just said item processed in Ottawa and than item processed at local delivery facility and than out for delivery. It took two days for me to get my passport.

Hey spookyb, it never changed for me. If the pointer on the CanadaPost site is on the "In Transit" bar, you're good. For me, it went from Item Processed to Item Processed in the city I was in, followed by out for delivery.

That happened for me too when I sent the package, but didn't when I was receiving it.

Mine was activated on Mar 31 and for two days it said Item Processed in Ottawa but this morning it changed to Item processed at local facility by the way its Edmonton. And i recieved my passport around 11 this morning. So expect to get your passport back tommorow.

Waiting for the passports since 28th March......

I have my flight tickets booked for this Saturday, hopefully I get it before that.

waiting for my passport(2nd), as they lost my previous passport, for visa stampi

Hi everyone. My case could sound ridiculous to you. I applied for PR under Federal Skilled Worker in October'11. its been a roller coaster ride. Medicals donein September'12. Passport requested in January'13.No reply after that.On January 16th'14, i was told my passport has been lost, in possession of CIC New Delhi, so sent us new passport. Luckily, i followed my instincts, and already applied for passport last year, and received it this january. Now for second time, medicals done on 27th feb, passport n medical recived in CIC New Delhi office on 4th March. They requested for 4 current passport sized photographs, which were received on 13th march(they never acnowledged receiving them). I have heard absolutely nothing from them since then. Now, anyone has any idea, what's happening here? i am so pissed off, and anxious, as this is the second time they are playing with my passport. Its 5 weeks already, and my passport has not come back. Can anyone suggest a fool proof plan what must i do?

U would have received a tracker number when you submitted te passport. So check with the customer care with that tracker number. If this doesn't work our for good, then I guess you have to visit New Delhi office.
