Mine was received on the 27th. Sent back April 1st....so 3 business days.

On return envelope I have mentioned different mailing address. Does it make any problem for me.

hello everybody just have few clarifications. I know cpc ottawa usually asks for photos with ppr email but I wasnt asked any so I did not send photos. Would that be a problem? I also sent one smaller canada post xpress post return envelope with the letter size xpress post envelope. But they ask you to send both letter size xpress post envelopes. I know it is a silly question but this thing worries me now........

No worries, photos are not asked for everyone and the COPR is folded and kept along with your passport, hence, dont worry about the size of the envelope.

You should be good.

I am still waiting for my passports. Even return tracker is also not enabled till now. Please let me know if return tracker is enabled for you.

Which service you used Canada post or courier?
I have used UPS.
All my friends went through Canada post they got passport in a week.

If you are referring to the return envelope, CIC will not return mail via UPS. If you have included a UPS return envelope, then you passports will be sent back via regular Canada Post mail.

I am in USA right now. I sent it via Fed Ex. I have included Canada Post shipping label for returning passport to USA. I followed steps as mentioned in PPR email.

I would suggest check with CIC via email or phone. I am still waiting for mine. My return tracker is still not activated.

They will probably send it to the address you put on the UPS envelope. But they will send it using normal post.
