Anyone check their Canadapost Xpresspost returning tracking number recently?
I mailed out sunday, and got delivered to cic this morning.
I wish I can drop it off as I live in Ottawa, it took 2 days to mail to a place that is only 7Km away, and another 2 days to be back in my mailbox...

No, it took one day. Nothing happens on weekends. They just accept it at the post office, but it doesn't go anywhere.

received a call from MP office. they said passports are sent to address on file via general mail. I cannot track now and there is no way to track. how come they send passports to another address when i created a shipping label.

I have no idea why they did in your case...
So someone has to collect your passport and mail it to your address (in us)

that address is my brother-inalw address. its only 44 KM from my address. only worried about general mail as we cannot track it.

Regular mail takes 4-5 business days to delivery (In Canada)
But for USA 4-7 business days.
Canada post mentioned on their website.
But no guarantee....on these dates it might take few more days to reach destination.

I am waiting for my passport too , they sent me a email and my passport went returned to me by regular mail , i wonder how long its gonna take to get it? i applied from Mexico......

Please help if would you know how long its gonna take to get it?

For international Canada post takes 7-9 international business days. But guarantee it might take few more days extra

I am not sure why they want to send passports via regular mail. They can ask us to pay and send via registered mail. In my case they ddint even use shipping label i enclosed. Ony thing i can think off is address on file is different than address on my shipping label. same happened to you as well correct?
