Follow the email, if CIC requires photos they will ask for it. IF nothing is mentioned in the email just send you Passports, copy of email and return Xpresspost. Write your application # on the mail you are sending your passports.

Hahahaha - Stupid Canada post activated my return package tracking same day i mailed my passport to Ottawa.
I put regular xpress prepaid for returning instead of Letter size xpress prepaid.
