green_dc - When your return tracker activates, you should have updated scan details from Ottawa.

Thanks. As you said. I think I will see the updated scans when CIC send it back.I mean there is a barcode on the envelop. So everytime it is scanned, it should be seen as updates in the system. I think there is nothing to worry about it.

Any tracker(s) activated today?. Ottawa has advised me that the COPR and visa have been printed and the passport sent to their mailroom for further processing. Maybe the mailroom is overloaded with such passports and that makes sorting difficult !!

I didn't see any one updating that their tracker is activated today.

Looks like mailroom guys are fed up and went on holiday!!

I think they follow a lot system, whereby they wait for a certain number of return envelopes to accumulate (maybe 100-200) and then pick them up for delivery ..what say?

I would like to think so but I'm not entirely sure. If you have a look at the passport tracker, activation has occurred on most days of the week including a Friday ! (sometimes as late at 9.00 PM...)

Passport sent to CIC: Jan 09
Passport received at CIC: Jan 10
Tracker Activated: Jan 17 @ 19.15

same as yours.

"Item Processed" means it has reached the postal facility at Ottawa and they have scanned the barcode on your envelope. You should be good.

Passports had reached ottawa on 10th jan.
