your package delivery falls in a bad period,canada post is pretty busy around this time a year,their shipping volume increase like crazy,talk to them again and bargain so they take your inquiry serious.
open a case tracking investigation,i just hope your passport won't fall in bad hands.

I know its a bad timing and I am calling Canada Post everyday but keep getting the same answer!!

Nope!! No activation even today.

Canada post sucked again this morning with processing my package...it reached somewhere else AGAIN!!

Canada post tracker activated today morning at 6:45 item processed Mississauga....hoping to get it today otherwise more wait!!

Guys, My lawyer has sent the passports to CIC through FedEx courierand it has been received by CIC. H heas attached the prepaid canada xpressport envelope alongwith the documents. But he did not give me the tracking number for the passport return. So how will I know how to track the passport return. Will CIC post the tracking number on the ECAS ? Should I ask my lawyer for the tracking number.

Might sound a bit werid but i thought good to get it cleared.

Finally picked up my passport from Canada post Mississauga...after making back to back calls to Canada post because of their processing errors...

So happy to share that my Copr and visa is valid till 31st of March

All the very best to everyone whoever is in waiting line....just be patient guys your's magic paper is on the way too!!!

Return tracker got activated at last on December 27 at 17:14. Hoping to get passports by January first week.

Hey guys... Did somebody submit passport to Ottawa not from Canada ?

I am currently in US, and I got a passport request. It is written that "If you do not submit a return prepaid Xpresspost envelope or if you provide an envelope from any other courier, we will return your passport by regular mail."

This means that I will not have a chance to track my passport travelling back to US from Ottawa. This is crazy. If there is a solution of this problem ?

It doesnt show its been delivered. i called Canada post they said to me its been delivered on Dec 23 but i haven't got any confirmation from CIC. should i be worried seniors please advise

Hi vishnuhari,
You can add your case in the spreadsheet. Its not protected. Also, if Canadapost says they have delivered your package you have to go by their word. In my case, I could not even track my package but it was delivered in couple of days as expected with xpresspost. About a week later got confirmation from CIC. Hope that helps.
