Waiting for Passport - Please add your case here

My lawyer had sent the passports by FedEx on 23rd December and i checked the Fedex tracker which states that CIC received it on 24th December and Signed by AMANDA. I also got the tracking number from the lawyer for the Prepaid Canada XPress post envelope for the passport return. But when I checked the tracker it says no such tracking number exists. When i checked if the tracking number is correct then my lawyer says yes it is right and it might show non-existence of the tracking number on the tracker if CIC has not used the envelope. Is this true ? I am just getting worried when they will return my passports.

It will get activated once CIC send back your passport..keep checking it every other day..;-)

I have my back tracking number, and this is not activated yet
Canada Post tracking shows:

We were not able to find any results
Unfortunately, the number you entered is not in our tracking system.

This is normal

@ Grishan...Yes..My delivery was signed by Mr.Thomas and I have my return tracker activated today.

could you share when did cic receive your passport? usually return tracker are activated around 6-7 pm

I guys I got my PP back with visas it took 10 calendar days for me

In this situation I would wait and email CIC again on Monday and check..

i just received an email from CPP-O confirming that they received the passports.
I am so much relieved

"We have received your passport and your application is currently in queue to be finalized. Please note that we are unable to estimate the remaining processing time required for your application. If you have included a prepaid Xpresspost return envelope, your passport will be returned using this envelope. If you have followed the instructions on the website and kept note of the tracking number, you should be able to follow its delivery on Canada Post. If you did not provide a prepaid Xpresspost return envelope, your passport will be returned by regular mail. "

Don't worry bud I have same time line as you. I received myPP today. My tracker also said same thing.

You should send an email to ask...mine was received on 27th dec.by cic

Hi... My friend has sent my passport to CPP-Ottawa by CanadaPost XpressPost... Tracking says that it was delivered (signature of MS THOMAS).
Since I am just over-worried, I would like to confirm, did somebody get signature of MS THOMAS as well while it was delivered ?

I never chose the option of signature but mine was delivered on 27th as per CIC..tracker still shows out for delivery...funny.
