Hi eds: any movement in your xpressmail other than " item processed in Ottawa" ?

Hi Aquareo ,
did you get your passport? Was it any movement in your xpressmail other than " item processed in Ottawa" ?

Mine is still "item processed in Ottawa" from Dec 16

Item processed in ottawa no movement yet , activated on Dec 16 and I live in Edmonton , How long will it take anr guess?

goa,
Good that I'm not alone on this, we are in the same boat. I live in Edmonton too! The tracking only says"Item processed" in Ottawa.

Guys,

It's out for delivery as per tracker in my case. The regional Xpresspost (within Ontario in this case) typically reaches next day for major cities (down south). However, it can take upto 3 days for the item to be delivered within ON. I am not so sure about other provinces but your package is in-transit and on its way to your destination. Also, CanadaPost tacker doesn't always show item in transit status as I was in my case for PP return package. The next update most of you might see would be Item processed at "your destination city". Keep the faith, you are all going to get your PPs soon ;D

Do you have your photo on the visa stamped on your passport? Is it required to be there?
The only place where I got my photo is on the COPR, at the bottom right corner but there is no stamp on the photo. Shouldn't CIC be more careful in this case? What if someone else places there photo on my COPR and does the landing? I believe this should be looked into as a security measure.

Anyways, my Original Landing Date is not correct on the COPR but everything else looks good. Should I contact the CPP Ottawa or should I just mention this to the immigration officer at the Port of Entry where I will go for my landing?

Please advise. Thanks in advance!

Most people with mistakes on the CoPR mentioned in to the officer during the landing process.

Quick question regarding date of last entry:

When I submitted my application, the date of last entry was same as original entry. My CoPR also has both dates same. However, after application submission I've been outside of Canada few times. Do you think it is a problem? I dont want to get into trouble later.

I did my landing today at Prescott borders and they put the same mistake in my COPR, but the CBSA officer told me not to worry about it they have records of everything.

However, I did my landing today after 13 mnths of process, we all wouldn't get to this position without the help of this forum.

Thanks all and I wish you all the best.
