Tracker activated on Dec 16 7:01pm...(11 days)
But not that excited because I sent pictures without having date printing on them......hope VO officer is nice!!

Tracker got activated just now 16 th dec

reg photos: The VO who issued visa will not check the photos.. It is forwarded to Sydney office, who will use these photos for PR card. Instructions for PR card will be automatically issued when you complete landing. However, "The Photo Inspector" at the Sydney office may ask for new set of photos - this request will come in email. There have been few instances where applicant has been asked to submit new photos. Unfortunately, this request will only come very close to the issuance date of PR card, when they open up your file.

My passports were rcvd on 10-Dec by CIC. I hope my tracker gets cut ayes on Dec 20, Fri 7 pm.....

I read on this forum landing on weekday is easier than weekend. Give a thought.
Keep us posted your landing exp on forum...

Thanks ! I'm planning to go early Saturday morning. Weekday is difficult because of tight schedule at work.. Will keep you posted.

btw, i've checked cases where it took longer to receive passports. in most of these cases the RPRF request came with PPR email. I guess cost-recovery folks take some time to process the payment. i'm saying this because my gcms that was generated 10 days after RPRF payment date was showing RPRF outstanding.

I paid RPRF upfront so my GCMS and PPR mail said "records shows as paid" /"complete@. So I think in my case RPRF should not cause delay. Bio data form I never sent upfront or now because they never asked me one. I hope they refer my application some where that info was available.

Do u think at least now I should send a scanned bio data by email? Also I can as for passport return status in same email. Requesting seniors also to advise.

Major reason for delay in returning passports compare to you & others is: my passports were rcvd by Cic on dec 10 where I sent them on dec 3rd night to po box address by xpresspost...you know that story .

Will keep checking CP site for return tracker activation

Congratulations everyone on getting return tracker activated. You guys are almost done. Must be a sign of relief
My passport reached Ottawa on December 11th. I made a mess while sending passports. Not only I sent prepaid regular size Xpress envelope instead of national as suggested but also forgot to attach PPR letter. Not much I can do now. Although my application details were included with the passports. Hope it works out OK ???

What do you mean by "application details were included with the passports".....you meant you wrote a covering letter with file # etc. Or you attached a post it kind of small paper in each passport with file# on it?
