Congratulation Rus...My passport was receieved on 13th Nov and not activation.

have u checked this morning?


The funny thing is I checked my tracker yesterday night and saw that it was not activated. I have sent a mail to CEC letting them know that the did not post it and I asked to expedite it. This morning they replied they have posted it already on friday and gave me my tracker number. Then I checked again and found that it was activated. They again mailed me this morning saying that you tracker is showing in process and expected delivery is today....

Guys / Friemds,

I received my GCMS notes on CEC which I applied before I got my passport request. Infacty I forgot about it was I started waiting for the passport stamped with Visa and COPR.

I think I am dealing with an issue which is very unfortunate. My spouse passoort was expiring on Jan, 18, 2014 and so I extended it to Jan 22, 2022 before sendin it to Ottawa. The consulate did not issue a new passport but put a stamp on one of the page.

In order to make sure the they do not read the wrong passport expiry date, I put a sticky on those pagses and wrote - "New passport Expiry date"

Today when I was going through the GCMS notes, there is notes which is says my COPR / Counterfoil(I guess its a visa) is cancelled....

Also I do not see any information related to my Wife - This may be because I did not include her consent and hence under Information Act, they did not include my spouse's information.

I belive they have corrected their mistake...otherwise they have already sent back your passport...

wtf ... my tracker activated this morning or yesterday night .. and it says item processed on 6dec2013 at 17.59 ....item still processed on Ottawa whats it is showing.

Any way... I beleive there is no possibility to receive it today.. I hope it will come tomorrow...best wishes to all

I think they corrected their mistake . I guess there is a due date on which they will issue visas and CoPRs and send them back to you. I hope it happens before holidays if not this week itself

Hi everyone. I've been waiting for my passport that was mailed to me last November 26, 2013 through regular mail according to CPP-Ottawa. Until now December 9, my passport is still yet to arrive. It's been 9 business days and still have no idea what happened to it. I called canada post and they can't look for it because it has no tracking number. They advised me to just wait. But for how long? It's been two weeks and i fear that they have lost my passport. I'm already on my vacation and counting down to what's left of it. Is there any case that they lost passports in regular mail. Or maybe just been sitting on my local post office warehouse because it was a parcel. It already costed me $450 to cancel my flight and not receiving it before January will cost me $1000 more.
