Thanks for the information... I do not need the passports soon and no travel plans... As you siad it it frustrating b'cos there is no updates from CPP Ottoawa... today I completed 5 weeks... Hopeing that my tracker will activate today or latest by tomorrow.

Any one who sent passports between Oct 20 to 30 and waiting ?

I will be sending my passport for PR stamp very soon.But I have my travel plans in January.
If i attach my plane ticket with passport. Is there a chance I will get back fast.
Any seniors know how much it takes for PR stamping?

there is no gurantee... I am on the same boat.. I have mailed them whether they can return me in two weeks or not.. they replied it quite impossible.. so I have to change my tickets..

Got a passport request today. I thought visa exempt nationalities don't send passports. Anyone else from visa exempt countries received a pass request?

Congrats !! Are you sure that they are asking for the passport or just copies of the passport? I'm surprised to see PPR for a person from exempt country.

May I know when you got medical request and when did you complete medical? Also, what time did you get the passport request? Sorry for all the questions , but your answers will definitely help

I didn't get Mr for this app. I sent an upfront medical for another app which I canceled. I assume they linked that medical with cec cause it was sent the same month as cec app. In their email they asked for rprf, 2 pics, passport n bio data within 60 days. Email and courier addresses look legit but the only unusual thing is asking for the passport. I'm visa exempt n already in Canada. Should I just send it or call info center to clarify?

I think VO used a different template than the template that is normally used for the RPRF and Bio data. I would suggest you to reply to that email and ask them if passport is really required. They should respond pretty quickly, hopefully within 2-3 days.

Call centre may not be of much help because they tell all communication must go to CPP-Ottawa.

What time did you get this email? I'm just trying to understand if I can lose hope for today and start tomorrow with fresh hopes lol

ANyways, pay the RPRF and send bio data. Send the receipt to Cpp-cost-recovery.

Thank u. Will do! Paid rrpf but need a printer to fill out the blanks so I send it tomorrow. I assume you need to fill out the receipt, scan it, convert back to .pdf m send it like that?

Yes, I printed the receipt, wrote my details, scanned it and sent it back.

How long does CIC says it takes to stamp passport?

y3knik , send them a reminder and sometimes it will work and they will send your passport back with visa.
