Immigration officer told us that our cards will be sent to us in 6 days

And for PR Card, it is really 6 days, It is a wonderful news... But I have read/heard usually they say 6 weeks : on an average...

Does any of you here guys who went to the boarder who have encountered of unaccommodating boarder officer? Just arrived home from carway for my exit but the officer told me to do it in calgary. Does the notice of refusal letter that the US boarder gve to us will affect our record for future entry to the US and other countries?


The remarks on the letter is this

-the subjects has no intentions of entering in the US right now and are just going to get canadian immigration benefits-

I mailed CIC 2-3 days back to confirm if they received my passport but have not got any reply. Are you guys getting any passport confirmation from CIC?

Do you know when CIC received your passports. Give yourself 4 weeks of time.

I haven't received a confirmation email either but looking at the forum, I think they don't reply to emails at this stage so we just have to wait. I'd only email if it's been more than a month (again looking at the average time on the tracker).
