yes mine is the same case.. I overlooked the same and was worried for 2 days after landing and finally it clicked in my mind. Anyways my lawyer sent an email to avoid any issues in future(no reply yet).. you can inform the officer and see what they say and let me know..

All the best for landing....

niceguy, to which email ID do I need to send an email stating that there has been an error on my COPR with respect to the original entry date.

My lawyer sent an email to "OttPilot-Immigration @ cic.gc.ca". But didn't get any reply yet...its almost 20 days

you can check with the landing officer also.. they might give you a better answer...

Ok nice guy, I will check with the border officer and then send an email to ottawa accordingly...hopefully this is lot an issue for landing...

I mailed CIC 2-3 days back to confirm if they received my passport but have not got any reply. Are you guys getting any passport confirmation from CIC?

really!! hard to believe, I sent 2 emails yesterday ( ofcourse after i gave them some time one for making sure my address is updated and other to confirm pasport received) they did respond to both. I have been waiting since Apr 2012 and i havent sent many followup emails unless i need to..

yahoo buddy.. same case with me.. incorrect original entry date... however, its not an issue since one of my friend did his landing last month and he too was in a similar situation (incorrect info on copr).. he told the officer while landing and he was told it is okay. let's check with the landing officer and connect back what is the response.

I also sent them an email on Monday (when I saw the successful delivery update on canada post) and haven't received a response yet. I wouldn't worry too much about it for now. Maybe after 15 days or so I'll email back.

I hope mine wil arrive this week. It will be a perfect gift for my birthday on friday :)

what's ur timeline?? when did u send ur passport??

It seems that they made a lot of same mistakes on initial entry date on the COPRs sent out recently. Hope they realize this problem soon.

Also, hopefully the border officer can amend this. If not, it takes 6 months for CIC to process an amendment. The guide clearly says that original entry date is something they can amend if they made a mistake.
