Dont worry, you will receive soon. I think it depends on the VO, since most of us who got the tracker activated have the same VO.

Pls lemme know who is ur VO ?

I know that you can do that in another way. You can call 1-888-242-2100 and ask about landing within Canada. But it can take up to 6 weeks to get the appointment with the immigration officer near your place of residence. Somebody is going to make 'landing' this way? Or everyone is going to go to the boarder?

Hi Bohdana,

About your question regarding the landing. I guess it all depends on one's priorities.

If someone's WP is not expiring in next 3 months, already have a health card and s/he doesnt have time or convenience to make a trip to the border - then simply their best option is to get an appointment at the closest CIC center and get their landing process done there.

Otherwise, like me....i will be driving to Fort Erie this Saturday.

All the best.

Yes, I understand that. We are probably will also drive to USA border this Saturday))) We have new work permits for one year but nevertheless would like to 'land' as soon as possible. We waited for that more than 2 years)))

Hello Ujbaby, pls post if yours is activated, i have to wait and no tracker since i reside outside canada

Hi, i'm new to this forum and seeking for help.

For my PNP application, I received mail from Ottawa CIC on 13th Sep 2013 that my visa is ready and my passport needs to be submitted.
My passports were delivered on 17th Sep 2013.

How long does this take for my passport to be stamped ?

I just received my passports and COPR and all info is good except my original entry date. I came to Canada in May 2010 originally and then visited my home country for 3 months and returned in Feb 2012. My last entry was Feb 2012 but my original entry is also the same as last entry. Is this fine? Can I ask the officer at the border to correct it?

I have got exactly the same issue on my CPR. Original entry date is same as last entry date, which is wrong. But i guess that is not one of the major concerns. I read the accompanying letter it stresses to check the name, date of birth, passport no. all those critical infos.

However, i will definitely point it out to the immigration officer at the border.

All the best everyone! Its been some ride...roller coaster ride!

Hi Infoseeker/yahoo7,

I had the same issue.. the original date of entry is not the original date of entry. In my case it was because of the new passport. The date which is mentioned in the COPR was the first date of entry on my new passport. It might be the only reason.

Thanks Mrniceguy. It completely makes sense. I had a brand new passport and perhaps that's why they just slapped the same entry and didnt bother to look up the original entry date from their super duper computer system. Perhaps its not that important for them.

yes mine is the same case.. I overlooked the same and was worried for 2 days after landing and finally it clicked in my mind. Anyways my lawyer sent an email to avoid any issues in future(no reply yet).. you can inform the officer and see what they say and let me know..

All the best for landing....

Congrats to all those who got their tracker activated....those who got the PPs back...and those who did the landing as well :) ... A lot happened in the 24 hours, I was away from the forum... :) ...
And Yahoo7, I hope you are thrilled now... :P ...

Fingers crossed and waiting for our PPs to be back with the VISA.
