Don't worry. I am sure you won't need this. Most cases I read, the border officer does not ask for anything other than passport, COPR and anything that proves your address (best would be driver's license).

LOL...ofcourse your manager wont give any letter to you for landing.

I meant company reference letter...that this guy works here etc. But no, i dont think that is required.

alright, thanks guys...

What all docs should we be carrying to the border?

Passports and COPR's
Paystubs
All WP copies
Marriage Certificate
Bank Statements for 6 months

Now we need to go to the border?

So I landed at Rainbow bridge. Immigration office didnt ask anything. I took my paystubs and bank statements just in case. Everything went on smoothly and Immigration officer asked me to sign COPR in his presence, rest all good :)

Congrats to all who received PPR today :)

I know that you can do that in another way. You can call 1-888-242-2100 and ask about landing within Canada. But it can take up to 6 weeks to get the appointment with the immigration officer near your place of residence. Somebody is going to make 'landing' this way? Or everyone is going to go to the boarder?

immigration office received my passport on Sep 5th. My tracking number is still not activated. :(

For everyone it depends. I was also irritated with the fact that the tracking number for people whose passports reached CIC later was earlier than mine. And now I'm waiting for mine passports to arrive and don't bother with the issues that were before. So be patient and very soon you'll get the result :D

Dont worry, you will receive soon. I think it depends on the VO, since most of us who got the tracker activated have the same VO.
