Maybe not exactly related, but also gives you an idea of processing times in Ottawa.
I applied for a TRV, and after the passport request, it took them 9 days to process it. They received my passport on the Sep 9th, and today (Sep 18th) the return envelope tracker got activated.

Any trackers got activated today?

guyz, can someone pls tell me the difference btw copr and record of landing? are they the same? also, I will like to know whether I can apply for ohip and new sin # immediately after receiving my visa or I have to wait till I land? pls respond

After landing, you can get the OHIP updated with new details if you already have it. They will extend it after checking your COPR document. No need to wait for another 3 months. Same is the case with SIN..

nope, I never had ohip, I guess I am gonna have to wait for 3 months after landing. hoping to get passports back soon. I will like to get ohip by January if I can complete my landing this month or early October in order to enable me deliver in a hospital without paying otherwise I'm gonna spend my last saving .. :( :(. Thanks for ur response though

How come you never had OHIP? Are you working at the moment? I thought the 3 months waiting is only for new residents. Are you currently living in Ontario?

Anyway, after you get your passport back, go the Service Ontario and ask. You are probably eligible right away.

I never worked full time in Ontario that`s why. I am working but part time casual shift but anyways, I will find out from service Ontario when I land. Thanks :)
