My Tracker also got activated today morning and it's out for delivery. The tracker shows item started processing at MISSISSAUGA and not Ottawa :. CIC received my passport on 13-Aug.

this is a long shot. may be canada post outlet that your friend bought those envelops able to match from the receipt. But I am not sure. For your sequential tracking number question, the digit before last digit (in your case 4) is sequential. i.e. next number is LT823xxx05xCA. Last number is random.

Yes, generally the tracking numbers will be sequential if the 2 envelopes are of the same size. But it also depends on the people at Canada post who arrange them. But you can try few numbers before and after.

My tracking numbers were LTXXXXXX329CA and LTXXXXXX332CA.

Finally, got the passports TODAY with immigrant visas and instructions. Passports were received by Ottawa in July 15, got them back in August 20. Please, add an info in the list. Thanks!

We got the passport and COPR today. Thank you everyone on this forum for all your help. Especially to the senior members whose advice was very helpful..We will be going for Landing tomorrow..will share our landing experience for sure.

Hello Agata,

Congrats, that you received your passport finally. Did you sent a mail application or online application? My passport was also received by CPC ottawa for TRV extension on bridging open work permit on 15th July, but I have not received my passports yet, unfortunately I missed to make a note of tracking number for return envelope, so I want to gauge how long mine would take.
