Waiting for Passport - Please add your case here

That is quit frustrating. I think they need to stamp visa within 60 days. But I dont know for sure. When is your current entry visa expiring?

My current visa will expire in 2014-July only.

Maybe they think I am not in an urgent situation. Who knows. I can't get any information from them. The call center agents have no access to my file. By email they only reply if they think it is important to do so.

Frustrating indeed.

My tracker was activated on 25 July 2013 at 5:45 PM, and received passport back from Ottawa on 30 July 2013. I got my documents after 55 days. I sent them emails regarding delay of documents and they replied me afterr 2 or 3 emails that.. Your documents are ready to send.. Your address is not clear please reply this email with you address. Its means that we have to knock at their doors if our documents are delay.

My passports reached Ottawa 46 days ago. I hope they resolve my situation also in the coming days.

How many emails did you send them in total? Ialready sent two emails but haven't got any reply fyet. I'll wait a few more days and send them another one.

congratulation. I don't understand 'address is not being cleared' excuse. Can you share with us who is your VO?

Hi! I have difficult circumstances, work permit expires in August 1st 2013. According to CIC I have to stop working. Immigration officer suggests not apply on work permit extension in order to avoid any changes in permanent residence file. As I understand, I will not get my passport with PR visa back from Ottawa until August 1st. I sent the email to immigration officer to get an advice in my case. What do you guys think about that? I still have couple days to apply on work permit extension, at the same time I don't want to argue with immigration officer.I can't stop working, because I have to pay bills, insurance etc.

I don't understand why you cannot extend your work permit and how that affects your PR file. Did an officer from CIC told you not to extend it? As for as I know your PR application will be evaluated based on previous work experience.

Yes, he called and strongly recommended not to apply on WP extension, because new WP will delay PR visa processing time, that's what he said.

visa officer called you? hmm. I extended my work permit (I am on spousal open work permit) in April while my PR application in progress. No one called me. I got medicals and ppr.
