According to October spreadsheet his/her NOC code is 2174.

Visa Officer stays the same for everything or it can vary for every step in the process? Do you have any thing to share on this, out of your experience? Thanks

my passport tracking was activated yesterday. I sent mine June 17.

Visa Officer looks like different for each steps.
My RPRF and Bio Data Request was sent by different VO.

It is worth looking into, what affects the passport processing time. Surely, the strike is one cause. Do you think nationality also causes some delays?

You are in Hotrod. But i dont believe that if you dont get your PP back in 2 days - it means you are not lucky, naaah. Who knows, something might reach you only after a certain time. Perhaps this waiting period works as a blessing in disguise. No worries, it will come on time.

Also, I need my passport for work, and right now I am having dificulties in doing my job... passport visa stamping should be something done fast...]

And also thank you for creating this post. It gives people a chance to have some basis on what they can expect as timeline for passport turnaround times.

What I don't understand is why some people get their passports back in as little as 2 weeks, while others, like me, have to wait for months (45 days now). In my case, I need my passport for work, and right now I am having dificulties in doing my job. Also, what to do if an emergency happens and you have to visit a family membeer who is ill overseas. Passports are very serious documents to be hold for long time. Passport visa stamping should be something done fast...

Is it EM5578. If it is, then mine is also the same. I just got a email reply back from EM5578. saying

Please be advised that both passports have been received . Documents will be issued and sent back to you shortly.

I will wait until next week. He already replied to me once so i dont wont to bother him again. But i think you can send him a mail asking the status. Let us know if you get any response
