He guys,
Congratulations to all who got good news. My passport was received at Sept. 11 and My tracker got activated at Oct. 11.
My track history is as follows

2013/10/10 17:44 OTTAWA Item processed at postal facility

and since then there is no update. It has been three days and there is no update in my tracking history. Do you think there is something wrong here ?

They don't deliver or update on weekends.

Ujbaby & Amy , thanks! for passports sent from outside of canada , CIC willdeliver only by regular postal mail unless you attach Canada Expresspost env

Needless to worry!! It will arrive just the transit takes a little longer

Folks waiting for passport - good luck! you ll get it, been thru the stress , i am telling you just give yourself a month before starting to followingwith CIC, i believe they are doing a awesome job although they took just more than 2 yrs on my case

Folks !, although i got my passports stampedwith Immigrant visa ( Exp date 1 yr from Expiration of my medical) , ecas is stillnot updated - very wierd

Qn : Since i live in USA , i can land just before expiry and PR start date & obligation starts from day 1 of Landing?
