my tracker has finally been activated!! 
I should receive it either today or tomorrow, then I will land asap! Rainbow Bridge is 15 mins from my house! woohoo!! I'm finally getting excited ;D

Okay folks, I am frustrated as hell! I sent my passport into Ottawa and it was received there May 17, 2016. My return tracker has still not being activated!!!! I called CIC last week and the agent said she can see they have received my passport but there is no further notes on my file so she has no idea when it will be sent back. They have had my passport for 5 weeks and I have heard nothing! And it seems like those on this page that sent their passport the same time as me got theirs back within 2 weeks - I just don't understand what is taking so long!!!!
I got my ITA and AOR in October 2015. I was accepted under the FSWP - Inland applicant.
Can anybody please comment on this if you are going through something similar or know something I don't - pretty please

Something similar happened with me as well. My passport reached there on June 6 and then after a week, I get an email saying they are missing photograps/ not meeting the photo specifications. I got new photos according to the description they told me (When I compared it with my old pics it was exactly same size) So I sent the pics on june 13, I emailed them asking if they received my new photos and the agent replied, please provide us the tracking number. After providing the tracking number the agent said they received my pictures on June 16 and the pics met the requirement and old one didnt. Since then I am waiting for my tracker to activate.

Thanks for this response.... I haven't gotten any emails at all from them - it has been radio silence!! I am so frustrated beyond words, I am worried there is now something wrong with my application??oba_14 said:

I dont think there is anything wrong with our application otherwise they wont even ask for our passport. Also, I emailed CPC Ottawa and they responded back so I would suggest you do thatCheri_in_Canada said:
