Today, I have sent the docs and passports through VFS. The application process from myside is done

If your current residential address and the address in your passport are different, PCC can take lot of time. In Hyderabad, after applying for PCC at PSK (passport seva kendra), you need to go talk to the Assistant Commissioner of Police. Submit him a request and a proof (of urgency). With this, your police verification will be done quickly.

Don't pay them its $150 and u need to send form 0008 additional dependent form and fund proof
If u don't do it soon and issued medical then ur file could delay

Hi all
dear friends. i received MR on 12th sept 13 and did medicals on 30th Sept 13. have collected all the documents and will send them asap.
I want to make two things clear regarding PCC.
firstly in the medical mail from embassy it is clearly mentioned that the PCC from the country u r currently residing SHOULD BE NO MORE THAN 12 MONTHS OLD.
i hv conformed this statement from my agent also and conformed it.
We can get a PCC issued beforehand and utilize it later when we receive MR provided that it must not be more that 12 months old when our papers reach embassy and it should be issued for canada only.
Secondly go to the passport office for PCC only if u had ur police verification done within the last two years and the passport office has a record of that, only then they will issue u PCC on the same day otherwise they will forward ur request to ur local police station and this process will take more time. Instead contact ur local police station urself.

If they have mentioned we can send it and not to worry
We should only provide those things and send no more material otherwise they might confuse and our case may delay we need to be specific

hope so.....i think they cleared firstly all those applicants who had done their medicals and then they will issue pending by nov end....(if all pending cases are doubtless in their views and if they r not conducting interviews or verification for them.)

Hi Friends,

I have submitted my medicals on 1st Aug2013 an medical received line appears on 8th Of Aug 2013 in Ecas. There is no further update till date from NDVO / CHC. I have not received any other requirement with Medicals. Can seniors suggest wether i have to send the passport without being asked or shall i wait for NDVO / CHC to ask for sending the passport.
