Application filed 22/06/2010
In process : 12/05/2012

He is in Toronto since 06/05/2013.

I can't predict the working style of NDVO.

Let the Medical Monsoon begin before the real monsoon for all the waiting MI-1 applicants.

In Economic classes - Federal Skilled workers - point no. 7 for language proficiency required the IELTS for the spouse accompanying to canada.

Can any one advise, is it required for the April 2010 applicants.

Have you shared the education qualification details of your spouse ?
Have they awarded any points for your spouse's qualification ?

Please share since these are new developments exclusively for some of the remaining MI-1 applicants viz. ECA & Spouse IELTS...

Yes i do, she has dine MBA, but now i have noticed the change in the updated forms. In 2010 there was no requirement of Ielts for the spouse. But as it is now mention in the Economic classes form- it may be required for the new candidates.... I am not to sure if required for 2010 applications

Dear Nitin,

I do not think we can provide the ECA as well as the IELTS, these are required as per the new guidelines post MAY 2013, MI-1 guidelines would apply to us.Since they require the updated information they have asked us to fill the forms as the format of the forms need to be the same (Means they cannot create new forms for just some) They need to know our status as of the last three years that is from April-MAy-June 2010 (the date we filed the application) till now.

i am also thinking the same, let me send the mail to Delhi - Canadian immigration, but as i have only 43 days left for submitting the forms.

I just now called up my consultant to get this clarification.

I am informed that they are getting medical request but no such request of ECA or IELTS for spouse.

Although ECA is not mandatory but optional for us (MI-1) since this will help in getting job in Canada.
