Waiting For MR May 2010 and June 2010 Applicants Only

This list is ever increasing.

Is there anyone who had applied for CAIPS/GCMS lately & received it. Please share if there is something vital which may help people like us awaiting MR that why we are again inside Deep Freezer.

We have got MR & PPR in Feb 2013, but after that no news yet, waiting for next news.

The problem is that even after waiting for so long there is no gaurantee that the outcome would be positive and we would be issued the visa. It is possible that after waiting so long, the outcome might be negative and the case is rejected on any small ground the the visa officer

But we are waiting for Medicals & don't know whether we will get them this year or next year or ... if we will ever get it.

Dear Friends,
We all are waiting please keep patience. We need to learn how to wait till our turn come. We need this skill there as we are not used to communicate in their language. Sometimes it takes 2-3 months or even more when we will get job. The frustration of that time will be more painful currently hopefully we are productive and doing our jobs. I feel happly wait till Dec 2014 by when they want to clear all inventory. Meanwhile, you all may think alternate plan as nothing in our hands. They can refuse and return files like the did before Feb 2008 and we may not be able to do anything with them. As today power is lying with them not with us.[b] But 1 thing is sure the more we wait we will become liability for them as we are not an asset which appricate every time. as the time passes we can increase our skills and experience but losing our capacity to work for them.[/b]

Paritosh, please don't take it otherwise but, I would not like to wait till the end of 2014 since that will ultimately mean 5 years of fast track (Applied in April 2010 & reaching Canada in April 2015).

I originally applied in June 2006 & that file had been eliminated so over all wait so far is 7 years & if it is stretched to 2015, it will be 9 years.

Imagine 9 years wasted in getting Visa & then starting life from Zero. If we had been there in 2011, by now we would have settled. Above this so far we are in a predicament whether we will be through or it will be a denial.

I have been in same problem. I applied under fast track program in 2009 and send documents at NDVO. They have screened package and status was - VO Eligibility Review completed followed by a letter of refusal and fee return in Jan 2010. The reason given was only that I have not provided enough evidences other than Exp. Letter. I am not able to understand why they did not asked if they needed more proofs. Then I got few more recommendation letters from office and re-submitted it now they have put me in a stage ahead than past file. It was returned after VOERC and now in process so hopefully they have considered all docs.
I am even in worst condition I came back from Australia (was on student visa) thinking that will get PR soon a month before refusal.

No Updates....nothing moving for MI-1 Applicants of May & June 2010

This is really frustrating since things have come to a standstill again. New applications are being accepted now & VOs will be occupied in scrutinizing & working on new applications.

It seems that our applications processing will get delayed further. I even doubt the tweet messages being shared here that New MI Applications will go back, behind the present backlog.

Logically not possible assuming that existing pending applications will surely get stretched till mid / end of 2014, so it is not likely that New applications will be on hold for 1 & half years & their processing will start in the beginning of 2015.

Dear Mr.Kp sharma,
Your worries are genuine and disappointing. Some people have received MRs in Nov/Dec 2012 and submitted the same well in time but unfortunately do not received Visa till date but there are some others who are frustrated and disheartened as they have not even received the MRs and there is another category who have been issued Medicals by CHC but they were not lucky enough to receive the mail. I have encountered this scenerio when I ordered for my CAIPs notes last month. In my case Medicals have been issued in Dec 2012 but u may call the bad luck my consultant did not receive the mail. This fact I came to know through CAIPs notes. My consultant has now taken up the matter with CHC for taking necessary action.
In view of my story I wish to altert all those March/April 2010 applicants that they should not sit silent but immediately apply for CAIPS notes so that they may not be a victim like me.

I am on the same boat as you are. Waiting for MR. I have done CAPIS almost one year before and even that time no processing was started. Later they added a line "We have started processing on 27March 2012."
After that they didn't add even a "." or "," or anything.

Any legal resident of Canada can apply, since you are on work permit you can apply yourself. To be eligible, you must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada or an individual or corporation currently present in Canada.

You can apply online under Access to Information Act, the fees is $5 and the results come within 3-4 weeks time.
