Waiting for an AOR and Sponsor approval

Im sorry if this has been brought up before but was wondering how do CIC contact you to advise if you have been approved to sponsor?? Its been 84 days and not herd anything, do they mail you this info or email?? Thanks!!! :-X

If you have provided an email address, they will usually email you. They sometimes send out confirmation by postal mail. Have you called them to find out about your app progress?

Most people don't receive AOR. They will only receive confirmation of sponsorship approval. Right now sponsorship approval is at 90 days, so you've got a few more days to wait until you'll hear something. Plus with the long weekend, that will probably add on another day.

Thank you, i've not rung them yet as I thought it might be best to wait until the 90 days are up! Is there a number you can recommend to call them on?

I received a letter confirming i was approved as a sponsor. I did not receive any email though.

Hi. My application was received on October 27th by cic. The processing times have been passed and I called cic today telling them I haven't received any letter from cic . Not even AOR. The call center agent said that they have sent a message to the cic office asking them whats the hold up on my file ?? And they said that I should expect a letter within 3 months !! . I have to wait for 3 months! This is so depressing. Is there anyone else in this forum whose going through the same situation that iam going through ?? Mine is spousal sponsorship (outland )

3 months is the default wait time cic gives anyone when inquiring about their file. this doesn't mean it will take 3 more months for you to receive aor or sa. if you go to the october applicant thread, you will see you are not alone and there are still some oct applicants still waiting. cic JUST updated the website to say they are working on nov 3 applications. just because they are processing nov 3 applicaitons, doesn't mean that all applications received before then are finished processing. i would guess you will be getting aor/sa very soon, and well before 3 months.

Thank u for the support. I really hope I get any letter from cic. Everyone from october thread atleast has sa or aor. I have nothing. No letter at all ....
My husband is so sad too hearing this .

127 days now no SA nor information if file
transfered to Accra, made numerous calls,
sent case specific email still no answer...
What should i do???
