Volunteer work whether or not considered as work ex

Hi Guys, I needed some help. I quite my job and served notice period till the month of July 2017 and now I am working as a volunteer with a NGO in India. In the section under personal history in my application I need to mention the time since July till present period what I was doing so I have mentioned the volunteer work I am doing. Question is whether I mention it under unemployed category or some other category. Answers would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Just mention it in your personal history as a volunteer work, without adding it in employment section.

Yeah thats fine, you can just write few words in the description
